How do I know whether WordPress or Shopify is right for my business?
WordPress is the better choice for most service businesses, trades, consultants, and professionals. It gives you complete control over your content and design and is the stronger platform for SEO and content-driven sites. Shopify is purpose-built for selling products online and handles payments, inventory, and shipping far more cleanly. If you are selling both products and services, we can advise on the right approach for your specific situation.
Can you migrate my existing website to WordPress or Shopify?
Yes. We handle migrations regularly from Wix, Squarespace, older WordPress installs, and other platforms. Depending on what you are moving from, we can migrate content, products, images, and in many cases preserve your existing URL structure to protect your search rankings. We assess what is involved before quoting so there are no surprises.
Will I be able to manage my site myself after handover?
That is the goal. Both WordPress and Shopify are designed to be managed by non-technical users, and we include a handover session with every build. After that session you should be able to add pages, update content, add products, and handle routine updates without needing to call us. For anything more involved, we are always available.
Do you offer ongoing support after the site launches?
Yes. We offer support and maintenance packages for both platforms. For WordPress this covers core and plugin updates, security monitoring, and backups. For Shopify it includes app management and general troubleshooting. If you prefer ad-hoc help rather than a monthly package, that is fine too — we are available either way.
